Grigio Carnico does not have a uniform vein pattern. Some slabs contain relatively open dark areas interrupted by bold white bands, while others show finer, closely connected lines. Larger crystalline patches can also create concentrated areas of contrast.
These differences are particularly visible across full slabs. A small sample shows the colour and surface finish, but a full-slab image gives a better view of the pattern distribution for larger finished pieces.
Grigio Carnico is available in large slabs for further fabrication and can be processed into tiles, panels and finished components. Actual slab dimensions depend on the selected block and material batch.

Slab sizes are indicative rather than confirmed stock dimensions. Special finishes and custom sizes are subject to material and order requirements.
Polished Grigio Carnico produces a reflective surface that emphasizes the dark background and pale veins. Honed Grigio Carnico reduces reflection for a more subdued appearance. Brushed and leathered finishes offer textured alternatives, subject to sample approval.
Wall panels and reception fronts: Large-format pieces display the stone's natural movement with fewer joints. Grigio Carnico works as a strong visual contrast against lighter walls, timber finishes and neutral interiors.
Countertops and bathroom vanities: Custom fabrication can include sink cutouts, backsplashes and finished edges. Polished or honed surfaces can be chosen to suit the design. As a natural marble, the material requires appropriate care to reduce the risk of staining and acid etching.
Floor tiles, stairs and furniture: Grigio Carnico can be cut into floor modules, stair treads, risers, tabletops and decorative pieces. Floor and stair finishes need to meet the project's slip-resistance and maintenance requirements.
Orders can be supplied as slabs for local fabrication or as factory-cut pieces according to drawings, dimensions and specified edge details.
For a feature wall, reception counter or other multi-piece surface, the slab arrangement can be reviewed before cutting. Full-slab photographs help establish where major vein features will fall within the finished dimensions, while a proposed cutting layout shows how the individual pieces relate to one another.
Bookmatched Grigio Carnico Marble requires suitable consecutive slabs and a cutting arrangement that produces the intended mirrored pattern. For projects using several adjacent panels, a continuous vein layout is another option. The achievable result depends on the selected slabs, available dimensions and cutting orientation.
For orders requiring a coordinated appearance, we can review the proposed piece dimensions against the available slab group. Finished pieces can also be numbered by installation position when the project uses a panel layout.
