Carrara White Marble Sinks & Basins

Carrara White Marble Sinks & Basins are custom-fabricated bathroom components made from selected natural Italian Carrara marble. Excellent Stone produces vessel and above-counter basins, countertop basins, integrated sinks, wall-mounted basins and floating basins for residential, hotel and commercial projects.

We develop each basin around the required stone construction, bowl geometry, dimensions, faucet layout, drain position and mounting structure. For repeated bathroom units, Carrara material can also be matched from the same block or batch to keep the finished pieces within a controlled range of background tone and grey veining.

Carrara White Marble Basin Types & Custom Sizes

A Carrara basin should be developed around both its finished form and its stone construction. Different basin types create different relationships between the bowl, countertop, wall structure and plumbing interfaces.

We produce round, oval, square, rectangular, trough and custom-shaped Carrara marble basins. Custom dimensions include overall width, depth and height, bowl dimensions, bowl depth, rim width and countertop dimensions.

A previous Carrara basin order was produced at 480 × 330 × 120 mm. Other dimensions are produced from the approved project drawing.

How We Construct Carrara White Marble Basins

The construction method is selected around the basin design. Excellent Stone fabricates Carrara basins through both solid-stone carving and slab-built construction.

Solid-Stone Construction

A Carrara basin can be machined from solid stone to create a monolithic form, with the bowl and exterior geometry developed from the same body of marble.

45° Mitered Construction

Carrara slabs can be fabricated with 45° mitered joints to build integrated tops, rectangular basin forms and larger architectural geometries while maintaining a clean stone appearance across the visible edges.

Bonded Stone Construction

Individual stone components can also be machined and bonded into the required basin structure, allowing the bowl, countertop and surrounding stone elements to be coordinated as one fabricated assembly.

Carrara integrated sinks can therefore be produced as solid-stone, 45° mitered or bonded constructions, giving architects and buyers several fabrication routes for custom bowl and countertop designs.

Carrara White Marble Basin Configuration

Faucet, drain and bowl geometry are fixed before machining so the stone fabrication follows the approved bathroom fittings and installation layout.

Faucet-hole position and spacing are taken from the selected fixture information. Drain position, bowl geometry and basin slope are coordinated in the same production drawing before stone machining begins.

Carrara White Marble Basin Drawing Approval

For a custom stone basin, the approved production drawing is the control point between design and fabrication. Before production, we lock the dimensions and installation interfaces that determine the finished product.

Excellent Stone develops architectural information into fabrication drawings and supports CAD design, 3D rendering, shop-drawing review and drawing revisions. The approved drawing becomes the reference for basin geometry, plumbing interfaces and stone machining.

Carrara White Marble Material Matching

Carrara is a natural Italian marble, and the finished basin carries the background tone and veining of the actual material selected for fabrication.

For hotels, multifamily projects and repeated bathroom units, we control the material before fabrication. Excellent Stone can:

Carrara White Marble Basin Fabrication

Once the material and drawing are approved, the basin moves through a controlled production sequence:

Carrara Material Selection → Production Drawing → Stone Machining → Bowl Formation → Faucet & Drain Processing → Surface & Edge Finishing → QC → Packing

Excellent Stone processes stone in-house in Shuitou with large stone saws, bridge saws, CNC equipment, waterjet equipment and six-axis machining equipment, together with polishing, honing and edge-processing capability.

Bowl formation, 45° joints, faucet openings, drain positions, finished edges and other drawing-related details are produced against the approved production information.

Carrara White Marble Basin Quality Control

We inspect each fabricated basin against its production drawing and verify the dimensions and interfaces that affect fabrication and installation.

Excellent Stone's confirmed fabrication controls include approximately:

• Thickness tolerance: ±1 mm
• Diagonal error: ±1 mm
• Flatness: ±0.3 mm

Every fabricated project piece is measured. Inspection photographs, piece identification and production records can be retained with the project documentation.
