Volakas is available from several quarry sources, and the full-slab appearance can differ noticeably in background tone, vein direction and grey coverage. We keep different selections so buyers can compare the actual slab pattern rather than choosing Volakas by name alone.
We keep a substantial Volakas block inventory for slab production. Among our Volakas exports, Spider is our highest-volume selection, giving us more blocks to review when an order requires larger quantities or sequential cutting.
The examples below show three distinct Volakas slab styles in our supply. Final selection is always made from the actual available slabs and batch.
Spider Volakas typically has a cool grey-white background with branching and interwoven diagonal grey veins. Finer feathered lines develop around the larger veins, giving the full slab richer movement while the overall vein direction remains easy to recognize.
J.PAPA, also known as Zhongbaba in the Chinese stone market, usually has a bright cool-to-neutral white background with long, orderly silver-grey veins. More white space remains between the veins, producing a cleaner and more linear full-slab appearance.
FHL Large Quarry Volakas has a cool grey-white base with a wider range of natural movement. Broad diagonal veins, cloudy grey areas and wider grey bands can appear across the same slab, creating a stronger and more variable visual effect.
We can supply sequential Volakas slabs from the same block for bookmatching and continuous vein layouts. Slabs can be kept in sequence, numbered and pre-arranged before fabrication so the proposed panel relationship can be reviewed in advance.
Available layouts include two-slab bookmatched pairs, sequential sets, four-slab compositions and larger continuous wall arrangements for hotel lobbies, reception areas, bathroom feature walls, fireplaces and other large decorative surfaces.

Polished and honed are our regular Volakas slab finishes. Polished slabs can be finished to 85°+ polishing degree, while honed slabs provide a softer, lower-reflection surface.
Leathered and other custom surface finishes are also available on request. For confirmed orders, slab thickness can be controlled to ±0.5mm tolerance.
