Turkish Beige Travertine is a natural limestone quarried in Turkey, recognized for its warm beige palette, layered movement, and naturally occurring pores. Its neutral color and architectural texture make it suitable for both contemporary and classic interiors, while different cutting directions can produce distinctly different visual effects.
The stone is available in slabs and cut-to-size pieces, with polished, honed, brushed or other project-specific finishes available depending on the selected material. Natural pores may be left open for a more textured appearance or filled where a smoother, more uniform surface is required.
Travertine is a calcium-carbonate-based natural stone formed through mineral deposition. It typically has a porous structure, and variations in pores, mineral markings, color and layered movement are natural characteristics rather than defects.
Its density, water absorption, compressive strength, and flexural strength can vary depending on the quarry source, block or slab selection, and processing method. Project-specific physical test data should therefore be confirmed by the relevant material test report when required.
Travertine can be cut and fabricated into complex architectural and furniture components. CNC processing allows the production of rounded corners, curved profiles, thickened edges, fluted surfaces and custom pedestal forms according to shop drawings.
Turkish Beige Travertine can be used for a wide range of interior and architectural applications, including:
Dining tables · Coffee tables · Side tables · Countertops · Bathroom vanities · Wall cladding · Feature walls · Flooring · Fireplace surrounds · Reception areas · Custom stone furniture
For hospitality and commercial projects, it is particularly suitable where designers want a warm, natural stone surface without visually overpowering the surrounding materials.
We provide fabrication based on project drawings, including cut-to-size production, CNC shaping, edge profiling, mitered construction, fluting, surface finishing and custom stone furniture fabrication.
For tables and furniture, slab selection and vein direction can be reviewed before cutting. Components can also be coordinated to achieve a more intentional relationship between the tabletop, edges and pedestal base.
Because travertine is a porous, calcium-based stone, several points should be considered in specification and daily use.
Sealing is recommended for many applications to help reduce staining and moisture absorption. Acidic substances such as vinegar, lemon juice and some bathroom or household cleaners may etch the surface, so pH-neutral cleaners designed for natural stone are recommended.
Spills should be cleaned promptly, particularly on dining tables, vanity tops and other frequently used surfaces. For exterior, wet-area, or flooring applications, the selected finish, slip resistance, sealing method, climate, and installation system should be evaluated for the specific project.
Natural variation in color, pores, veining, and texture is expected, and samples should be considered representative rather than identical to every slab.
