A full bullnose rounds the complete exposed front edge instead of rounding only the upper corner. On a 50 mm thick tread, the finished profile is normally based on a radius close to half the thickness, but the exact radius, tangent points and exposed-end treatment should be shown on the approved section drawing.
The photographed bullnose has a textured finish that visually matches the thermal top. This is different from a polished indoor countertop bullnose. For exterior steps and wet areas, the buyer should approve both the top texture and the rounded-edge texture because they affect appearance, touch and maintenance.
