24 hours/7 daysWe supply Calacatta Viola marble slabs, tiles, countertops, worktops and custom-cut pieces for importers, fabricators, contractors and interior projects. The biggest differences between Viola slabs are the creamy-white background, burgundy saturation, breccia size and overall color depth.
For project orders, we can compare actual slabs and blocks before cutting so buyers can select the right pattern and Calacatta Viola marble price level for each application.
Premium Italian Calacatta Viola combines large creamy-white clasts with saturated wine-red, burgundy and plum breccia. The best slabs keep enough large white areas for the pattern to breathe instead of breaking the entire surface into small fragments.
Premium Italian Viola: creamy ivory clasts with deep wine-red and burgundy breccia.
There is no universal grading system for Calacatta Viola. We compare slabs by background tone, burgundy saturation, clast size, breccia distribution and overall visual balance.
Large creamy clasts remain intact while rich burgundy areas create strong focal points. This is our preferred selection for luxury islands, feature walls, reception counters and statement interiors.

The same large breccia structure remains, but burgundy occupies less of the slab. The result is brighter and quieter, which can work well across larger wall or flooring areas.
Lower-priced Italian Viola can be much more fragmented. Smaller pale clasts are divided by dense charcoal-grey and dark purple breccia, giving the slab a busier, more graphic look with less wine-red color.

Similar Viola-style stones are available from several origins, but their breccia geometry and color depth are not the same. For project buyers, this difference directly affects both appearance and price.
Turkish Viola can come close to Italian material in breccia structure, but its darker areas tend to read more charcoal-grey and grey-purple. The white background also appears cooler, giving it less of the warm, layered depth found in premium Italian slabs.

Chinese Viola has a visibly greyer palette. Smoky-grey clasts replace much of the creamy ivory background and burgundy becomes a secondary accent. It is therefore better suited to budget-focused projects than projects targeting the classic cream-and-wine-red Italian appearance.
The general price positioning is premium Italian Calacatta Viola > Turkish Viola > Chinese Viola. Italian material itself can also vary greatly depending on burgundy saturation, pattern quality and block selection.
| Selection | Main Visual Difference | Price | Best Fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium Italy | Creamy ivory + rich wine-red breccia | Highest | Luxury statement projects |
| Other Italy | Less burgundy or more fragmented pattern | High–Medium | Italian origin with cost control |
| Turkey | Similar breccia, cooler grey-purple palette | Medium | Appearance / budget balance |
| China | Greyer palette, weaker burgundy | Lowest | Cost-sensitive projects |
Final Calacatta Viola marble price also depends on slab size, thickness, finish, quantity, fabrication and current block availability.
Good slab selection starts with the block. Our yard has lifting and transport equipment for repositioning large marble blocks so we can inspect exposed faces, visible fissures, color zones, breccia distribution and potential cutting direction before slab production.

Calacatta Viola works especially well on large surfaces where the breccia pattern can remain continuous. We have fabricated the material for kitchen islands, worktops, sinks, vanity areas, feature walls and custom furniture.
Consecutive slabs can be bookmatched so the burgundy breccia mirrors across the center joint, creating a strong background-wall composition.
A large Calacatta Viola kitchen countertop or island gives the breccia enough space to develop naturally. Slab layout can also coordinate waterfall ends, backsplashes, sink openings and cooktop cut-outs.

Selected Viola marble slabs can also be fabricated into vanity tops and integrated marble sinks with pattern allocation confirmed before cutting.
